Japanese IT manufacturer Fujitsu has released a tool for Windows users to check on the health of their IDE and ATA hard disk drives.
Fujitsu Windows Diagnostic Tool runs two types of analyses: quick, which is based in random reading/writing tests, and completes itself in three minutes, and exhaustive, which analyzes the surface of the device and will complete in 30 to 100 minutes.
